Role Description: Analyst

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a degree in business, economics, or engineering from a top tier university, although exceptions will be made in the right situation. Our ideal candidate will have 2 - 3 years experience working in startups, technology, finance or consulting. This role requires a “get it done” attitude and willingness to research to learn and accomplish any task handed to her or him.  Strong Excel skills along with communication, writing, and analytical abilities are required.

Function within the Organization:

Our analyst will primarily be responsible for the following tasks:

• Researching particular industries and theses of interest to the Atento Capital team

• Complete deep due diligence into prospective fund of fund and direct investment opportunities 

• Assist team in researching statistics for content to be shared in our newsletter, podcast, and social content

Day to Day:

Each day with Atento will look different. A typical week will include the following:

• Team meetings

• Researching macro and micro trends within the technology and startup spaces

• Reviewing startup and venture capital fund data alongside our Head of Investments and Partnerships to understand how attractive prospective opportunities will be

• Sharing research insights with the greater Atento Capital team to inform our knowledge base and decision making

Working with/Reporting to:

As this role has a variety of functions, the analyst will be working closely with a number of different parties including, but not limited to:

• Atento Capital Managing Partner

• Atento Capital Head of Investments and Partnerships
